Picture Jasper is known to be famous for being the most sought-after stone in the world. The beautiful multi-colour browns can be described as unique landscape patterns on their surface, formed over time by nature. This stone is opaque in colour which sets it apart from other stones. 

This stone is a coloured impure form of natural silica. Jasper is said to be both invigorating and stabilising, bringing stillness to a troubled mind. It generates an even rhythmic pulse. Jasper is known to absorb negative energy aligning and cleansing the chakras and balancing the yin and yang. Jasper, a form of chalcedony, is an opaque variety of silica and is found in red, yellow, brown or green colours and, although rare, also in blue. Some jasper resembles landscapes and is known as picture jasper. When the colours are layered, the stone is called striped or banded jasper.
