"Nunga" is a term used to refer to Aboriginal people of South Australia, particularly in coastal or metropolitan regions. It's a term of self-identification, used by Aboriginal people to describe themselves in that area.
This bracelet project supports the spirit of NAIDOC week by encouraging students to engage with Aboriginal language, culture and connection through a creative hands-on activity. Each bracelet becomes a meaningful symbol of learning, unity and cultural respect.
