The Viral Beaded Pot Plant Trend is Here - and we're Obsessed!
Warning: once you make one of these, you’ll be beading everything.
The viral beaded pot plant trend is taking over feeds everywhere and honestly? We’re obsessed. It’s the ultimate combo of quirky charm, sparkle, and plant parent pride.
Whether you’re making them as a gift (hello, Mother’s Day!) or just want to jazz up your space, these beaded plant picks are pure joy and so easy to make.

- Green beads and lots of them!
- Glass Facet or Glass Bicone to make it extra sparkly
- Crackle Beads to make it unique
- 50% off abacus glass strands

- A pot plant
How to Make Your Own Beaded Pot Plant Picks
Step 1: Cut Your Wire (a little longer than you think)
Grab your wire and cut it to 15–20cm. If you’re feeling fancy, prep a few wires at once so you can batch-make them like a beading machine.
Tip: Want the pick to stand tall in the pot? Use thicker wire (closer to 0.8mm) or double it up for extra strength.
Step 2: Bead It, Baby
Slide on your beads! Try a colour palette (rose gold + blush = dreamy), mix textures (crackle + facets = sparkle central), or just go wild.

Tip: Leave a few centimetres of wire at the bottom so you can anchor it later.
Step 3: Twist & Shape Your Magic
Use your round-nose pliers to bend the beaded wire into cute shapes — spirals, mini flowers, stars, hearts, suns, abstract squiggles… there’s no wrong way to do it!
Feeling extra? Add a charm dangling from the centre for some plant jewellery realness.
Bonus Trick: Wrap the wire around a pen or pencil to make perfect spirals every time.
Step 4: Secure & Style
Twist the base of the wire so your beads don’t fall off, then gently press it into the foam.
Make It a Moment (or a Workshop!)
We love seeing families and friends make these together; they’re super beginner-friendly and make the perfect craft class or bonding activity. Add this to your Mother’s Day celebration, girls’ night, or even a birthday party!
